River Light FC take a trip to the windy city to face Chicago City SC at Hoyne Soccer Field later today. After falling 2-1 at home earlier this season, the Lights continue to push for playoffs and look for revenge. 

Chicago City sits in third place (19 pts.) in the Heartland Division standings with a 6-1-3 record this season. At home, Chicago City boasts a 3-1-1 record, gaining an important draw against league leaders Minnesota Aurora earlier this season. 

Chicago City’s form has suffered in the last five games, losing three of their last five with their most recent defeat coming from their trip to Minnesota Aurora in which City lost 4-1. Chicago City found wins against Bavarian United and RKC Thirdcoast, while dropping points against the Chicago Dutch Lions and Bavarian United. 

River Light currently sits above Chicago City with 22 points, winning their last four games in the Heartland Division. The Lights have been ruthless on the attack, outscoring the rest of the league with 45 goals this season, while only conceding 10 goals for the second best defense only behind Minnesota Aurora (6 goals conceded).
